Hyperbridge has suspended all cross-chain operations through the frontend, and the investigation is still ongoing.
ME News Report, April 13 (UTC+8), blockchain interoperability protocol Hyperbridge tweeted that the team is taking emergency measures to mitigate attacks related to the DOT token. Currently, the team has suspended all cross-chain operations via the frontend and recommends partners to pause external trading, issue warnings, and stay highly vigilant when appropriate. Polkadot stated that this vulnerability only affects DOT bridged to Ethereum through Hyperbridge and does not impact DOT within the Polkadot ecosystem or DOT on other cross-chain versions. Polkadot, its parachains, and native DOT remain secure and unaffected. (Source: Foresight News)
