Microsoft Win11 Arm version finally supports RSAT remote server management tools, remote management of WinServer servers is no longer restricted
IT Home March 13 News, according to technology media neowin today reported, Microsoft Win11 Arm version finally supports RSAT remote server management tools, allowing administrators to directly remotely configure Windows Server systems on Windows clients without logging into the server.
According to reports, previously the x64 version of Windows 11 has always supported RSAT, but WoA (IT Home: Windows on Arm) devices have lacked this feature, and IT administrators had to use alternative software such as Windows Admin Center or switch to x64 architecture computers to perform related operations.
With the March “Patch Tuesday” update now available, Microsoft has added AD DS & AD LDS domain services, AD CS credential services, Group Policy Management Console (GPMC), DNS server tools, and DHCP tools to Windows 11 Arm version, making it easier for administrators to configure remote servers.
In addition, RSAT is available as an optional component in Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2, which users can enable through the “Turn Windows features on or off” menu. In 26H1, it is provided as a feature on demand (FOD), which users can enable in “Settings --> System --> Optional features --> Add an optional feature.”
