Is the U.S. military threatening to blockade Iranian ports? Stop pretending! They can't even gather enough minesweepers—it's purely political showmanship!

Global energy shipping has completely exploded! The U.S. Central Command suddenly issued a major statement: starting at 10 a.m. on April 13, they will fully blockade all Iranian ports! They threaten that any ship, regardless of country, that dares to enter or leave Iranian ports without permission, will face military action. The Strait of Hormuz instantly becomes a powder keg, and global oil prices soar accordingly. A maritime confrontation seems imminent.

Trump even boldly declared that he would immediately send minesweepers to clear the channels, vowing to quickly open the sea lanes and cut off Iran’s maritime lifeline once and for all. But military experts, after reviewing, felt a chill down their spines: the U.S. military’s boasts are deafening, yet their core equipment is completely inadequate—there aren’t enough minesweepers available!

What appears to be a fierce blockade operation actually hides the U.S. military’s critical weaknesses that they cannot conceal.

For years, the U.S. has focused solely on deep-sea confrontation, aggressively cutting back on the costly and labor-intensive defense forces for near-shore mine clearance. Today, their mine-sweeping capabilities are severely depleted. There are very few active professional minesweepers left, all of which are over 30 years old, with only four still operational, and all stationed in Japan. Moving them urgently to the Strait of Hormuz is nearly impossible.

Relying solely on the U.S. military’s limited minesweeping power to establish a safe passage through the heavily mined Strait of Hormuz, a critical global energy artery, is utterly unrealistic. Expecting NATO allies to help? Just empty words! Coordinating, assembling, and deploying multinational minesweeping fleets takes too long. By the time the fleet arrives, the situation will have already changed dramatically. The so-called blockade plan will have become a laughingstock.

Without ships, without strength—why does the U.S. dare to openly threaten to seal off Iranian ports? Basically, it’s a gambler’s mentality combined with showboating!

They are betting that Iran, pushed to the brink, won’t dare to fire on U.S. forces, hoping Iran will back down first; meanwhile, they’re pulling allies into a spectacle—just a show for the international community and American voters. When it comes to real action, no ally will step in to back them up.

But Iran has already been cornered with no way out. Holding anti-ship missiles, suicide drones, and swarms of fast boats, Iran is fully capable of engaging U.S. forces in the Persian Gulf. If the U.S. dares to blockade the ports, Iran can make U.S. warships suffer sleepless nights. Once the conflict erupts, this isn’t just about clearing mines—it could spiral into a full-blown out-of-control maritime clash.

The core of this farce isn’t military confrontation; it’s a high-stakes gamble related to votes!

The Strait of Hormuz controls nearly half of the world’s oil shipments. If the strait is completely blocked, global oil prices will skyrocket, U.S. inflation will spiral out of control, and voter dissatisfaction will directly crush the White House. Trump himself knows well that this blockade can’t last more than a few months—it's purely a political stunt to boost his election prospects.

They push the red line of deterrence, flaunt military muscle, and posture tough, but they lack the core minesweeping forces needed to support the blockade. All they do is shoot blanks and stage grand shows. What appears to be sealing Iran’s ports is actually closing off their own diplomatic options little by little. This flawed blockade farce will ultimately become an international joke!
