Abstract generation in progress

“The Measures for Credit Repair Management” take effect starting today (April 1). Dishonest information will be classified and managed based on the severity of the dishonesty. The Measures clarify that dishonest information will be classified and managed according to the severity of the dishonesty, and, in principle, it is divided into three categories: “minor, general, and serious.” Minor dishonest information will generally not be made public. The shortest public disclosure period for general dishonest information is 3 months, and the longest is 1 year. The shortest public disclosure period for serious dishonest information is 1 year, and the longest is 3 years. After reaching the minimum public disclosure period and correcting the dishonest conduct, the credit party/entity may apply for credit repair in accordance with the relevant regulations. The unified portal for credit repair is the “Credit China” website, which provides free processing online throughout the entire process—“one website for all services”—to simplify procedures, shorten processing time, and help enterprises efficiently and conveniently rebuild their credit. In general, the “Credit China” website should provide feedback on the credit repair results within 10 working days from the date it receives the credit repair application. (CCTV News)
