ME News, on April 11 (UTC+8), Iran’s Islamic Parliament Speaker Kalibaf will hold talks with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz on the same day to determine the timing and format of negotiations between Iran and the United States. In addition, Iran will raise the issue of the United States breaking its commitments with the Pakistani prime minister during the talks. The prerequisites for initiating negotiations include the unfreezing of Iranian assets and a ceasefire in Lebanon. The United States has informed Pakistan that it agrees to these prerequisites and other conditions for starting negotiations. The Iranian delegation plans to assess the U.S. position and whether it has fulfilled its commitments during the talks, and then decide whether to negotiate with the U.S. side. Tasnim News Agency said in another report that if Iran and the U.S. can hold negotiations, the current plan is for the negotiations to begin later on April 11 and may last only one day.
