According to on-chain analyst Ember's monitoring, Spark completed its first token buyback on April 5th, spending 571,957 USDS to purchase 26.66 million SPK tokens at an average price of $0.0215. It is expected to buy back approximately 12% of the circulating supply over the next 12 months.

ME News Report, April 5 (UTC+8). According to on-chain analyst Yu Jin’s monitoring, Spark completed its first-month token buyback half an hour ago, spending 571,957 USDS to purchase 26.66 million SPK, at an average price of $0.0215.

The 26.66 million SPK repurchased in one month is roughly 1% of SPK’s circulating supply, while their buyback plan is expected to continue for 12 months.

Roughly based on this figure, after a year of buybacks, they could repurchase SPK equivalent to 12% of the circulating supply—about 3.2 billion SPK (686 million US dollars).
