Xinhua Finance Beijing, April 7 — The Sci-Tech Innovation 50 Index and the Sci-Tech Innovation Composite Index opened higher this morning, rising by 0.44% and 0.21%, respectively. The Sci-Tech Innovation 50 Index fluctuated upward early in the session, surged significantly, then consolidated narrowly, pulled back before midday close, and traded within a narrow range in the afternoon, ending the day with a notable increase. The Sci-Tech Innovation Composite Index showed an overall upward trend with a pullback during the early session, rebounded slightly after further narrowing of gains in the afternoon, and closed significantly higher.

By the close, the Sci-Tech Innovation 50 Index was at 1,274.01 points, up 1.42%, with total constituent stock trading volume reaching approximately 58.6 billion yuan, a substantial increase compared to the previous trading day. The Sci-Tech Innovation Composite Index closed at 1,645.51 points, up 0.85%, with total trading volume around 188.2 billion yuan, slightly higher than the previous trading day.

On that day, most stocks on the STAR Market rose, with 392 stocks gaining, accounting for about 64.69%. In specific sectors, semiconductor stocks led the gains overall, while many stocks in the electrical appliances and instruments, specialized machinery, healthcare, auto parts, and chemical raw materials sectors rose. Biopharmaceutical and aerospace stocks were relatively weaker.

According to statistics from Xinhua Finance, on April 7, the 606 stocks on the STAR Market had an average increase of 0.78%, an average turnover rate of 2.31%, and a total trading volume of 188.22B yuan, with an average amplitude of 4.24%.

In terms of individual stock performance, Boluwei closed with a 20% daily limit increase, ranking among the top gainers; *ST Guandian closed with about a 20% daily limit decrease, ranking among the top decliners.

Regarding trading volume, Cambrian achieved the highest with 15.53B yuan; *ST Guandian had the lowest with 4.5154 million yuan.

In terms of turnover rate, Taijin New Energy had the highest at 21.80%; Haohai Shengke had the lowest at 0.12%.
