Just noticed something interesting about how crypto media outlets operate and their business ties. So apparently there's a major player in the cryptocurrency market that's now getting into oil trading - but they're doing it differently than what some perp platforms are offering. What caught my eye though is how transparent they're being about their ownership structure and compensation arrangements. It's becoming more common to see these kinds of detailed disclosures in crypto, especially when you've got institutional backing involved. The infrastructure side of the cryptocurrency market keeps expanding into new asset classes, which is kind of wild when you think about it. Anyway, interesting to see how the business model differs from pure derivatives plays.
