Most bosses in China are not capitalist thinkers, but feudal landlord and slave owner mentalities.

Capitalist thinking is, as long as you make me money, you can do whatever you want; you don’t even need to come to work, and that’s fine.
So, what about the slave owner mentality? It’s that they can’t stand you being idle; they monitor you from all directions, and you feel like you’re selling your life contract, selling yourself to them.
Why do those bosses behave this way? Because it’s the result of system and cultural conditioning.
Don’t think it’s just ordinary people who are conditioned; business owners are conditioned too.
The system and culture tell them that rules are unreliable, and that power is the most important.
Why is power the most important? Because the system and culture create an environment of uncertainty and low trust.
