Iranian Foreign Minister: Ready to respond to U.S. ground invasion

Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi said on March 5 in a video interview with NBC News in Tehran that although the United States and Israel launched airstrikes across Iran, Iran has not called for a ceasefire. He said that the U.S. attacked Iran both during negotiations last year and this year, so Iran has no reason to engage with “those who lack sincerity in negotiations and do not participate in negotiations in good faith.” When speaking about a possible U.S. military ground invasion, Araghchi said, “We are waiting for them, because we have confidence that we can confront them, and that will be a major disaster for them.” ( Xinhua News Agency )
