ME News report, April 5 (UTC+8), Odaily Planet Daily: The U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command stated that each MC-130J aircraft involved in a rescue operation for downed U.S. military F-15E crew members carried out in Iran is worth more than $100 million. The aircraft is designed to deliver troops to hostile areas and conduct evacuations, has aerial refueling capability, and is equipped with advanced sensors for defense against air interception, including heat-tracking systems. A U.S. official said that during the rescue operation, U.S. forces destroyed two MC-130J aircraft. U.S. officials did not specify the reasons for the problems these aircraft encountered. Iranian senior officials released photos showing the burned wreckage of at least one aircraft. Iran’s parliamentary speaker Ghalibaf posted on social media, saying: “If the United States achieves three more such ‘victories,’ it will be completely destroyed.” (Source: ODAILY)
