As expected in this era, the wait-and-see crowd always wins, because development is just moving far too fast. The lobster has been tuned for so long, yet it stumbled into countless pitfalls in the early days; Hermes also wasn’t very well usable at the beginning, and running it with local models on an intranet didn’t really produce any results. Now the Hermes ecosystem is becoming increasingly mature, and it has captured a lot of the buzz that used to belong to the lobster. I wonder what new things will come out next!
