The U.S. Senate did not pass the bill to restrict Trump's military action against Iran. Democrats vow to continue applying pressure.
On March 18th local time, U.S. Senate Democrats forcibly advanced a vote on a bill that aims to restrict President Trump from taking military action against Iran without congressional approval. Ultimately, the bill was not passed with a vote of 47 in favor and 53 against. Democrats threatened that unless Republicans agree to hold a cabinet-level hearing on the U.S.-Israel-Iran conflict, they will continue to push for votes on more related issues. (CCTV News)
