Both senior officials are currently staying in Tehran and actively fulfilling their national duties amid the ongoing evolving regional situation. The source stated: "The so-called Iran negotiation team reported by some media to have arrived in Islamabad, Pakistan, to negotiate with Americans is completely false." He emphasized: "As long as the United States does not fulfill its promise of a ceasefire in Lebanon, and the Zionist regime continues to launch attacks, negotiations will remain stalled." Previously, The Wall Street Journal claimed that the Iranian delegation arrived in Islamabad on Thursday evening.
