ME News report: On April 5 (UTC+8), the Office of the Central Anti-Corruption Coordination Group for International Fugitive Recovery and Cross-Border Corruption Governance held a meeting to launch the “Sky Net 2026” campaign. Among them, the National Supervisory Commission will take the lead in carrying out the special operation for recovering and making good on assets abroad related to duty-related crimes; the Ministry of Public Security will carry out the “Fox Hunt” special operation; the People’s Bank of China, together with the Ministry of Public Security, will carry out a special campaign to prevent and combat the transfer of illicit funds abroad through offshore companies and underground banks; the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, together with the Ministry of Public Security and the National Immigration Administration, will do a solid job of managing officials in appointment positions of “naked officials” and of addressing violations by public officials going abroad (overseas) for private reasons.
