When “Unicorns” Are No Longer Out of Reach: My Three Thoughts on Gate’s Digital Pre-IPOs

When I saw Gate roll out digital Pre-IPOs, my first reaction was: ordinary people finally have the chance to “get on board” before the listing. For the three topics discussed in this issue, here are my thoughts.

If I can only choose one, I would pick SpaceX. This company not only has a valuation exceeding $800 billion, but more importantly, its business logic is clear—its Starlink business has achieved positive cash flow, and its future imagination in satellite internet, space cargo, and even Mars plans is far beyond what ordinary tech companies can compare with. 2026 is widely seen as a banner year for super IPOs, with SpaceX, OpenAI, and Anthropic all on the shortlist. Compared with the intense competition and policy uncertainties faced by AI companies, SpaceX’s “hard technology + monopolistic orders” moat is deeper. If Gate can bring it to a Pre-IPO platform, I’m willing to participate in the subscription right away.

2️⃣ Three Advantages of Gate’s Digital Mechanism Compared with Traditional IPOs

Traditional IPOs seem open, but in reality they are extremely unfriendly to retail investors—high barriers, regional restrictions, and quotas are bundled and taken up by institutions. Gate’s digital Pre-IPOs completely change the rules of the game:

· Manage volatility well. Digital stocks are strongly linked to the crypto market, so you need to set take-profit and stop-loss levels.

In short, this innovation by Gate is a major step forward in financial democratization. When the opportunity comes, the key is how we rationally seize it.
