Domestic electrolytic copper production in March 2026 increased by 8.53% month-on-month

Mysteel surveyed 60 domestic electrolytic copper producers, involving refined capacity of 16.98 million tons (including planned new capacity in 2026). The sample coverage rate was 99.41%, concluding that: In March 2026, the actual domestic electrolytic copper output was 1.1937 million tons, up 8.53% month over month, and up 5.67% year over year. From January to March, cumulative domestic electrolytic copper production totaled 3.4752 million tons, up 7.63% year over year. Also, according to the production plan arrangements of the surveyed companies, in April 2026 domestic electrolytic copper is expected to produce 1.16 million tons, down 2.82% month over month, and up 4.58% year over year.
