Why do people with higher levels of understanding know how to respect others more?

Because when a person’s cognition keeps rising, they realize that in fact every person around them has no absolute good or bad or right or wrong—only different states revealed and different choices made in different perspectives and environments.
Who is righteous, and who is the villain—many times, it’s decided by the side you’re on.
In the past, I always treated those so-called enemies as obstacles on the road forward, but when you shift your angle and your mindset, they can also become the very reasons you have to keep moving ahead.
When you truly fear.
When you face a mountain, those thoughts of resentment and revenge have long been worn away by time, leaving only those feelings of reflection—smiling, and shaking their heads.
