Keming Foods: Has organized the relevant departments to conduct a systematic compliance check of the current use of all registered trademarks and identifying marks.
On April 8, Kuming Food said on an investor interaction platform that the company uses the two characters “shougua” in the product name because the product is produced using a specific machine-based production process that recreates the classic taste of traditional hand-rolled cutting noodles—tough and springy, smooth, and stays firm when boiled without turning the soup cloudy. It is not an indication that the product is produced by hand. In addition, the product packaging all uses a transparent window design, so ordinary consumers can tell from the appearance and form of the product that the noodles are industrially produced, and it will not cause consumers to misunderstand the production process. At present, the company has organized relevant departments such as legal affairs and marketing to conduct a systematic compliance audit of the use of all currently registered trademarks and related identifiers. For any trademarks and product names that are found during the audit to potentially create ambiguity in consumers’ perceptions and lead to misunderstandings, the company will take proactive measures such as standardizing the way identifiers are used and optimizing product packaging design to eliminate misunderstandings for consumers. Going forward, the company will upgrade the pre-compliance review standards for trademark registration and product naming to prevent similar issues from occurring in the first place. Meanwhile, it will establish a normalized market feedback collection mechanism to promptly listen to consumers’ opinions and continuously optimize product identifiers and promotional content.
