Bitcoin has surged recently!
The current Bitcoin price has rebounded to around $700,000+; the core drivers of this surge include:
Geopolitical easing: tensions between the US and Iran have cooled, a ceasefire agreement has been reached, risk assets have rebounded, Bitcoin’s safe-haven “digital gold” attribute has become apparent, and short liquidations have intensified the rally.
Institutional capital inflows: spot Bitcoin ETF inflows have exceeded $400 million in a single day; institutions continue to add to their positions, increasing supply pressure.
Improved macro expectations: the likelihood of a Federal Reserve rate cut has risen again, and the Trump administration’s pro-crypto policy continues.
Market sentiment and leverage: short covering plus new year/cycle allocation of funds are driving a rapid upswing.
Overall, institutionalization plus favorable policy is the long-term main theme, while in the short term it’s catalyzed by events. Investors should pay attention to volatility risks.
