People’s Finance and Information April 8 — A reporter learned that U.S. officials disclosed on July 7 local time that the Trump administration is preparing for possible negotiations between U.S. and Iranian officials over the coming days. Both sides are working to reach a long-term agreement to end the war between the U.S. and Iran. U.S. White House press secretary Leavitt said: “At this time, in-person talks are being discussed, but until the President or the White House announces it, nothing has been finalized.” It is understood that Trump’s special envoy Wittekov, his son-in-law Kushner, and Vice President Vance are expected to attend the negotiations, at which point mediators from Pakistan will also be present.
