Mars Finance news: On April 8, according to The Wall Street Journal, on Wednesday morning local time, the Iranian Navy informed vessels anchored near the Strait of Hormuz that they still need Iran’s permission in order to pass through the strait. A recording shared by a crew member shows: “All vessels must obtain permission from the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps Navy to pass through the strait. Any vessel attempting to cross the strait without permission will be destroyed.” The information was broadcast to the vessels via radio. President Trump said he has agreed to pause strikes against Iran for two weeks on the condition that the strait can be “fully, immediately, and safely” reopened. The Iranian government has sent a signal indicating it intends to continue exerting influence over the waterway. Based on the photos and videos shared by the crew, fighter jets are still circling over the Persian Gulf. Most vessels remain docked.
