The sponsored integration will bring Kalshi’s “crowd odds” to Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, Fox Weather, and the Fox One streaming platform .

Under the agreement, Kalshi will work directly with Fox’s data and production teams to provide real-time data access for seamless visualization around key political, economic, weather, and cultural storylines . The partnership makes Fox the latest major news network to embrace prediction market data, following similar deals struck by CNN and CNBC in December 2025 .

‘Wisdom of the Crowds’ Meets Mainstream Media

Prediction markets like Kalshi allow users to trade on the outcomes of real-world events, generating constantly updated odds that supporters say capture the “wisdom of the crowds” . These forecasts have increasingly been adopted by newsrooms and institutions as a supplemental data point alongside traditional polling and expert opinion .

Kalshi reports that millions of people visit its platform monthly, with approximately 70% using the site solely to check market odds while only 30% actively trade . Fox News Media reaches nearly 200 million people each month and is also available via Fox One, the company’s direct-to-consumer streaming platform .

Limits on Political and Sensitive Coverage

While the partnership encompasses a wide range of coverage areas, there are notable limitations. Fox News will not be using Kalshi data for its political coverage, as the network relies on its own election and polling division .

Additionally, Kalshi confirmed that the company will not have Fox air prediction markets on war, terrorism, death, or assassination, as those topics would create “perverse incentives” . This decision follows previous controversies in the prediction market space, including backlash over bets placed on military operations and political assassinations .

Sports coverage is also not included in the initial partnership, though a Kalshi spokesperson indicated that sports data could be added “maybe in the future” .

Institutional Adoption and Regulatory Landscape

Prediction markets have gained significant institutional credibility in recent years. The Federal Reserve has adopted Kalshi’s data, calling it “valuable to researchers and policymakers,” and politicians have begun referencing their own “Kalshi odds” on the campaign trail .

However, the industry continues to face regulatory scrutiny. Lawmakers have raised concerns about the potential for insider trading, particularly regarding markets tied to military operations or national security matters . In March, Rep.
