Strengthening Ecosystem Security, Solana Foundation Launches STRIDE & SIRN Projects

The Solana Foundation officially introduces two major security initiatives, STRIDE and SIRN, to mitigate cyber threat risks in the DeFi sector. The STRIDE program focuses on in-depth assessment and 24/7 threat monitoring for protocols with a Total Value Locked (TVL) above $10 million. This step is taken to establish stricter security standards for developers and investors within the Solana ecosystem.
In addition to monitoring, the Solana Incident Response Network (SIRN) has also been launched, a security firm network to handle crises in real-time. SIRN functions as an intelligence coordination and rapid response center in case of incidents on network protocols. For large projects with TVL exceeding (million, the Solana Foundation even provides special funding for formal verification to ensure technical accuracy of smart contracts.
These initiatives reaffirm Solana’s commitment to building a secure infrastructure amid growing institutional adoption. While offering various free security tools, the Solana Foundation emphasizes that the primary responsibility for security remains with each development team. The expansion of this program is expected to increase user confidence in the long-term stability of the Solana network.
