$RIVER This wave, I ultimately made a wrong move… (Heartbreak record)
Brothers, I admit defeat.
I was watching $RIVER pump higher, and I thought I’d rack up some trading volume on Hyperliquid, then immediately flip into a short hedge. What happened? It straight-up did a sudden pull-up right off the ground—one bullish candle left me completely stunned.
Watching the unrealized loss in my account go from 5% to 20%, that illusion of “just wait a bit and it’ll pull back” really messes people up. I just clenched my teeth and closed the position a moment ago—the feeling of my heart racing and my palms sweating… only us retail investors really get it.
A bloody lesson: Never go head-to-head with the trend, especially with tokens that have event support.
