According to a notice from the NDRC, since the domestic refined oil price adjustment on March 23, international crude oil prices have fluctuated sharply. To mitigate the impact of international oil prices rising on the domestic market, the state has continued to take regulatory measures on refined oil prices. According to the calculation under the refined oil price mechanism, effective from 24:00 on April 7, the domestic gasoline and diesel (standard grade) prices are required to be increased by 800 yuan and 770 yuan per ton respectively; after the regulation, the effective increases are actually 420 yuan and 400 yuan.

After the regulation, the maximum retail prices for gasoline and diesel will increase by 380 yuan and 370 yuan less per ton respectively; this translates to a decrease of 0.31 yuan per liter for 92-octane gasoline and a decrease of 0.32 yuan per liter for 0# diesel.

CNPC, Sinopec, CNOOC, and other crude oil processing enterprises must organize refined oil production and distribution properly to ensure stable market supply, and strictly implement national price policies. Relevant departments in each locality should step up market oversight and inspection efforts, severely investigate and punish acts that do not implement national price policies, and maintain normal market order. Consumers may report violations of prices through the 12315 platform.
