BlockBeats message, April 7, citing a diplomatic memo reported by the British newspaper The Times: Iran’s current supreme leader Mujtaba Khamenei, it is said, has already lost the ability to carry out actions and is currently receiving medical treatment in the holy city of Qom.

The report says Mujtaba’s injuries are severe, he is in a coma, and he is receiving treatment due to his “serious” health condition, unable to take part in any decisions of the regime.

This memo, obtained by The Times, first disclosed the location of this supreme leader. The city of Qom, located in central Iran 87 miles south of Tehran, is regarded as a holy site in Shia Islam. Although U.S. and Israeli intelligence agencies previously claimed they had tracked his whereabouts, with the deadline for ultimatums set by Trump now approaching, if Iran’s top leadership were in a power vacuum, it would undoubtedly add enormous uncertainty to the current turbulent situation in the Persian Gulf.
