On March 25, the “200 Index of Wholesale Agricultural Product Prices” fell by 0.52 points from the previous day

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on March 25 the “200 Index of Wholesale Agricultural Product Prices” was 121.11, down 0.52 points from yesterday. The wholesale price index for “the vegetable basket” products was 122.54, down 0.60 points from yesterday.

As of 14:00 today, the national average wholesale price of pork in agricultural product wholesale markets was 15.80 yuan per kilogram, down 1.4% from yesterday; beef was 66.89 yuan per kilogram, up 0.8% from yesterday; mutton was 64.79 yuan per kilogram, up 0.6% from yesterday; chicken eggs were 7.70 yuan per kilogram, up 0.4% from yesterday; and dressed chicken was 17.42 yuan per kilogram, down 0.9% from yesterday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 4.86 yuan per kilogram, down 0.2% from yesterday; the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 7.75 yuan per kilogram, down 1.1% from yesterday. Carfish was 19.71 yuan per kilogram, down 1.5% from yesterday; carp was 14.51 yuan per kilogram, down 0.9% from yesterday; silver carp was 10.09 yuan per kilogram, down 4.1% from yesterday; and large hairtail was 41.11 yuan per kilogram, up 0.2% from yesterday.

Today, among the 46 varieties monitored in domestic fresh agricultural product wholesale markets, compared with yesterday, the top five price increases were scallion bulb, lettuce, big yellow croaker, green onions, and Fuji apples, with increases of 5.5%, 3.2%, 2.2%, 2.1%, and 1.4%, respectively. The top five price declines were pineapple, silver carp, Chinese chives, Ya pear, and winter melon, with declines of 7.4%, 4.1%, 3.3%, 1.8%, and 1.8%, respectively.
