🔥Google has launched an offline AI dictation app called Eloquent, based on the Gemma model to locally filter filler words and refine text.

According to 1M AI News monitoring, Google has released the free dictation app Google AI Edge Eloquent on iOS, emphasizing offline priority. After downloading the Gemma-based speech recognition model, users can use it without an internet connection. The app displays real-time transcribed text, automatically filters filler words like "um" and "ah" after pausing, and polishes the text into smooth written language. At the bottom, there are four options for text rewriting: "Key Points Extraction," "Formal," "Concise," and "Detailed." The app defaults to cloud mode, using the Gemini model for text cleanup; turning it off processes everything locally. Users can import keywords such as technical terms and names from their Gmail accounts or manually add custom ones.
