I just saw an interesting ranking of the 100 wealthiest people in the world according to Bloomberg. The thing that strikes me the most? Americans completely dominate the top 10, with Elon Musk leading the list with $444 billion. Bezos, Zuckerberg, Ellison, and other big tech figures are all there.
Scrolling through the names, I notice that wealth is increasingly concentrated in tech and finance. Prominent names from Asia include Mukesh Ambani from India (90.7 billion), Zhong Shanshan from China (56.3 billion), and various Chinese tech entrepreneurs. It’s also interesting to see how the list of the 100 wealthiest people in the world includes a growing representation from emerging countries.
There’s also a well-known crypto entrepreneur entering the top 25 with $58.9 billion. Overall, the ranking reflects the dominance of American billionaires but clearly shows how global wealth is redistributing toward Asia. Source: Bloomberg
