I just discovered that there are more ways to make money on Telegram than I thought. It’s not just those click games; there’s an entire ecosystem that most people don’t know about.
The most popular now are tap-to-earn games. Notcoin, Hamster Kombat, TapSwap... basically, you click, level up, complete missions, and accumulate tokens. When they get listed on exchanges, you can withdraw or sell. I’ve seen people earning between $5 and $50, though it depends a lot on the project.
Then there are airdrops, which are the classic. Projects give away tokens for activity: sharing posts, subscribing, following on social media. TonUP distributed millions of tokens this way. You don’t invest anything, just time. It’s like a lottery, but without risk.
For those who know more, there’s P2P arbitrage. Buy low on one platform and sell high on another. It requires experience and staying alert to prices, but there are closed groups on Telegram where these operations are coordinated.
There are also NFT and metaverse projects that offer rewards for collecting or completing missions. GRAMville is an example. You collect NFTs and then sell them.
And there are bots like 'Telegram wallet' that give bonuses for activity: daily payments, cashback, promotions. Many connect with Toncoin to facilitate withdrawals.
Now, here’s the important part: Telegram is full of scammers. I’ve seen everything. Bots that ask for money to withdraw ( and then disappear), phishing links, fake airdrops that demand a 'registration fee,' fake admin accounts claiming you need to pay to 'activate' your account. I’ve read stories of people losing everything.
The warning signs are obvious: if they promise more than $100 for a subscription, it’s fake. If the team is anonymous and there’s no website, be suspicious. If they pressure you to pay quickly or use strange methods, it’s a scam.
To avoid falling for it: verify everything on Google, Reddit, Twitter. Look up the project on CoinMarketCap. Never send crypto first. Never enter private keys into bots. Enable 2FA on your account. Carefully check domains—( a letter changed—and you could lose everything).
The truth is, making money on Telegram can work, but it’s not for getting rich. Expect between $0.01 and $0.20 per task. It’s more of a way to learn about the crypto world without investing. If you get a good airdrop, great. But if you want to earn seriously, you need to invest in real projects or convert those tokens on legitimate exchanges.
What surprises me is how many people still fall for this. Telegram is incredibly convenient, but it’s also the jungle. Without centralized moderation, everyone has to filter information and protect themselves. Mistakes can be costly.
