Iran claims that the US and Israel attacked the "yellowcake" production plant with no radioactive material leakage

On the 27th, local time, Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization announced that a “yellowcake” production facility in Ardakan, Yazd Province, Iran, was attacked by U.S. and Israeli forces just minutes ago. Preliminary investigations show that the incident did not cause any leakage of radioactive material from the complex to the outside. “Yellowcake” is uranium oxide, which is typically extracted from crushed natural uranium ore. It is a necessary intermediate product in the process of producing nuclear fuel, but it cannot be used directly in nuclear reactors; instead, it is generally used to refine and concentrate uranium.
