U.S. media: Rescued American pilot has been taken to Kuwait

BlockBeats message, April 5, according to the U.S. New York Times, the second pilot aboard a U.S. Air Force F-15E fighter that was recently shot down has been sent to Kuwait for treatment. During the rescue of the pilot, the U.S. military destroyed two “stranded” U.S. transport aircraft that were carrying out rescue missions.

The report says the pilot searched for more than 24 hours in mountainous terrain to evade the Iranians, and his only personal weapon was a handgun. The U.S. military mobilized several hundred special operations personnel to carry out the rescue; during the operation, firefights broke out with the Iranian side.
