U.S. media: Rescued American pilot has been taken to Kuwait

During the rescue of this pilot, the U.S. military destroyed two “stranded” U.S. military transport aircraft that were carrying out rescue missions. The report states that the pilot searched for more than 24 hours while hiding in mountainous areas to evade Iranian search efforts, and his personal weapons consisted of only a pistol. The U.S. military deployed several hundred special operations personnel to complete this rescue, and firefights broke out during the rescue with Iranian forces.
