I have just summarized the important trading timeframes during the day according to Vietnam time, which may be useful for those of you following the market.
The main thing is, what time is the European session in Vietnam time? During daylight saving time, the European (London) session starts at 14:00 and lasts until 23:00. In winter, it’s a bit later, from 15:00 to midnight. The American (New York) session is even later, during summer from 19:00 to 04:00 the next morning, and in winter from 20:00 to 05:00.
The most important period to watch is from 19:00 to 23:00 — when the European and American sessions overlap. This is when the market is hottest, with strong price movements, high liquidity, and many important economic news releases. The European session around 14:00-15:00 also often sees volatility as markets open. Similarly, when the US session begins at 19:00-20:00, major US economic reports often have a significant impact on USD-related currency pairs.
I recommend paying attention to these timeframes to better seize opportunities or manage risks effectively during periods of high volatility.
