Alright, I was scrolling and wondering: which cryptocurrencies should I buy if I want to diversify in 2024? Of course, now it's 2026, but looking back, some choices made sense.

Bitcoin remains the starting point for anyone. It’s the classic, you know? Today it’s around $67K, and even though it’s volatile, it’s always been there. It’s not crazy innovation, but it’s stable in a way others aren’t.

Ethereum is different. It’s not just a coin, it’s the entire infrastructure behind DeFi and NFTs. Now at $2K, but the ecosystem continues to grow. If you believe in decentralized apps, Ethereum is where the magic happens.

Solana made waves for its speed, right? 65,000 transactions per second, tiny fees. Today at $80, but the point is that for developers building high-performance apps, Solana has always been interesting.

Polkadot solves a real problem: how to get different blockchains to communicate? It’s not sexy, but it’s useful. Now at $1.25, but interoperability will always be relevant.

There was also Qubetics, which circulated as the big promise of that year, with all the story of the presale and phases. I don’t know how it ended up, but the point is that when you look at what crypto to buy, you need to understand what you’re buying: is it a coin, a platform, an infrastructure?

The truth is, 2024 looked full of opportunities, but as always, it depends on what you truly believe in the future of blockchain. It’s not an exact science.
