Why do many on-chain products have features but no users?
Because they solve the question of "Can it be done" rather than "Is it easy to use."
@easydotfunX's value doesn't lie in the new capabilities it offers, but in how it organizes those capabilities. By providing a more intuitive interface and simplified processes, it consolidates operations that were originally scattered across different tools, allowing users to complete tasks within a single flow.
This design seems simple, but the challenge lies in balancing. Over-simplification sacrifices flexibility, while making it too complex can diminish the entry point's value.
Currently, it leans more toward a user growth tool rather than a complete ecosystem, but that doesn't mean its value is limited. Often, the real determinant of scale isn't the protocol itself but the entry point.
In the long run, if products like this can reliably retain users, they have the potential to become traffic distribution layers. Once distribution is mastered, subsequent monetization methods can actually be expanded.
easydotfunX is still in the validation stage, but it hits the most realistic layer of competition in the on-chain world.
