Coinglass Releases Q1 Cryptocurrency Market Share Research Report
Whether it’s spot/derivatives market share, trading volume, open interest, or liquidity, @binance unsurprisingly leads the pack, holding slightly more share than the second and third places combined, far ahead of the competition.
The most surprising aspect is asset reserves and management scale. The top five platforms are Binance, OKX, Gate, Bitget, and Bybit, with average user assets of $152.9 billion, $15.9 billion, $6.8 billion, $6.7 billion, and $5.6 billion, respectively.
In other words, among major CEXs, only OKX maintains assets over $10 billion, while the third to fifth platforms are concentrated between $5 billion and $7 billion. Overall, the pattern shows a “significantly leading first place, a distant second, and other platforms relatively close.”
Binance accounts for nearly 75% of asset reserves and management scale, while the combined reserves of the nine other exchanges are less than one-third of Binance’s.
