Recycled lead finished product inventory increased month-on-month, with weak demand and increased supply pressure.

As of March 26, finished recycled lead inventory was 175,000 metric tons, up 50,000 metric tons from March 19. The main reasons for the cumulative increase are: weakening downstream purchasing sentiment, combined with companies resuming production and ramping output, as well as imported lead supplementing domestic supply. The additional supply increase offset the relatively weaker demand, leading to a rise in inventories. (SMM)
