This preliminary proposal did not disclose many key details, including the overall spending scale and long-term fiscal revenue projections. Under this military budget proposal, the next fiscal year will allocate $1.1 trillion to the U.S. Department of Defense, along with an additional $350 billion for critical munitions procurement, expansion of the defense industrial base, and other related matters. As early as this January—before the U.S. launched a large-scale strike against Iran—Trump had already pledged to submit a $1.5 trillion defense budget request.
