Stop obsessing over the illusion of “high win rates.” First, face the most fundamental issue: if you can’t even avoid liquidation, talking about win rates is meaningless.
Too many traders are misguided from the start. Their minds are full of “making money every day” and “steady profits,” but they neglect the most basic elements like risk control and discipline. Contracts are never meant to be a safe bet; they are tools to amplify results—if you have self-control, they amplify your profits; if you’re emotional, they will only magnify your losses infinitely, ultimately leading to complete liquidation.
When I first started trading, I fell into the same trap. Chasing gains and selling on dips, getting itchy at market fluctuations, going all-in when emotions take over. The result was: the faster I made money, the harder I lost. After several trades, my capital was almost gone.
Later, I had a breakthrough: the top priority in trading is survival. I eliminated all flashy indicators and complicated strategies, sticking to a few simple principles:
- Only trade mainstream coins, avoid illogical altcoins, reducing risk from the source;
- When the market is chaotic and direction is unclear, prefer to stay in cash rather than open reckless trades;
- Never trade without a clear entry signal or if the position isn’t right.
When trading becomes simple, your mindset naturally stabilizes. Now, my first thought before placing a trade is never “How much can I make?” but “If I lose this trade, can I handle it?” This one question filters out 90% of the trades that shouldn’t be taken.
There are also a few habits I still stick to, which seem ordinary but are key to long-term profitability:
- If I make two consecutive wrong trades, I stop immediately and never hold on emotionally;
- If my position size becomes too large, I reduce it right away—never give the market a chance to liquidate me;
- If I don’t lock in profits promptly, it’s as if I didn’t earn anything. Securing profits is the hard truth.
Many people think experts have some secret that’s not shared. In reality, there’s no such thing. Those who can sustain themselves long-term in the market rely not on fancy tricks but on doing the simplest, most basic things correctly, over and over again.
The market never lacks opportunities; what’s missing are people who can seize them. If you’re still messing around with reckless trades, heavy positions, chasing gains, and selling on dips, stop dreaming of getting rich overnight. Pause first, steady your mindset, implement risk control, and stick to discipline. #加密市场行情震荡
