Mars Finance reported that on April 3, Reuters reported that Japan’s Mitsui O.S.K. Lines said on Friday that one of its Japanese liquefied natural gas carriers had passed through the Strait of Hormuz. A spokesperson for Mitsui O.S.K. Lines said that the crew aboard the Panama-flagged vessel “SOHAR LNG” is currently safe, but did not disclose the specific time the ship passed through the strait, nor did it say whether any form of negotiations had taken place regarding its transit.
