Russia has attacked critical infrastructure in the Chernivtsi region, igniting a 100-square-meter fire. Rescuers managed to extinguish it amid ongoing air raid alerts, with no injuries reported. 38 workers responded to the emergency.

“Russia has once again attacked critical infrastructure facilities in the Chernivtsi region. The attack caused a fire,” the statement said.

According to the State Emergency Service, "the cleanup efforts were complicated by repeated air raid alerts, but rescuers extinguished the fire, which covered an area of 100 square meters, and prevented it from spreading further.

There were no injuries or fatalities.

A total of 38 rescue workers and seven pieces of equipment were deployed to deal with the aftermath.

As reported by Ukrinform, on April 1, a fire broke out in the Chernivtsi region after two Russian drones struck a power facility.
