According to news from the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission stationed at the China Securities Regulatory Commission, and the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Commission of Zhejiang Province: Recently, with approval from the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission, the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission stationed at the China Securities Regulatory Commission and the Taizhou Municipal Commission of Supervision in Zhejiang Province have filed a case and launched an investigation into the former chairman of the Issuance Examination Committee of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, deputy director of the Issuance Supervision Department, and first-level inspector Guo Xudong for serious violations of duty and law. Guo Xudong disregarded the spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulations, in violation of those provisions accepted banquets and received gifts and money in the form of gifts. He betrayed his duty and mission, practiced differential treatment in the stock issuance examination and approval work, and accepted equity. He used his regulatory authority to give advance notice to help enterprises get listed and obtain refinancing. In accordance with relevant provisions including the Supervision Law of the People’s Republic of China and the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Administrative and Disciplinary Sanctions for Public Servants, his illegal gains shall be confiscated; the issues concerning his suspected crimes shall be transferred to the procuratorial authorities for review and prosecution in accordance with law, and all the relevant money and property shall be transferred together.
