I noticed an interesting trend in the NFT segment over the past year. It turns out that the most expensive collection ever sold is The Merge by Pak's. Nearly 30,000 collectors purchased these tokens for $91.8 million. Honestly, those are wild numbers.
Next is Everdays — there were 5,000 unique NFTs sold for $69.3 million. In third place is Clock, which was purchased by the Assange organization for $52.8 million. Interestingly, the price of these assets reflects how seriously people take digital art.
Fourth on the list is Human One — sold for $28.9 million. Experts say this is one of the most ambitious projects of its kind. Closing the top five is CryptoPunk #5822 — the most expensive NFT from the CryptoPunks collection, sold for $23.7 million.
Looking at these figures, it’s clear why NFTs remain so attractive to collectors. Authenticity guarantee plus rarity — that’s what makes these assets valuable. There are a few other expensive NFTs like CryptoPunk #7523 за 11,75 млн или Ringers #109 for $7.1 million, but the top clearly leads by a huge margin.
