The true strong players in the investment market: they never rush to recover losses but first accept the reality of losses, and are decisive in cutting losses like the "Crocodile Rule," without using more funds to fill the holes that have already been lost; they also avoid gambler mentality, understanding that the more anxious they are, the easier it is to lose their rationality and be repeatedly harvested by the market. At the same time, they are not bound by sunk costs and will exit promptly when they find the situation is bad, treating each decision as an independent event, maintaining a calm and zeroed-out mindset. Truly mature individuals also understand how to accept phased setbacks and protect their core capital because as long as they are still in the game, there is always a chance to turn things around. Instead of rushing to recover, it’s better to extend the time horizon, use patience to withstand volatility, and continuously review and learn from mistakes, turning each loss into an accumulation of knowledge.
