I just reviewed the full 2026 calendar, and it's interesting to see how the breaks are distributed throughout the year. The February Carnival (16 and 17) has already passed, but it was one of those long weekends that many took advantage of to go to Gualeguaychú or enjoy the parades in Buenos Aires. What caught my attention is that the year has quite a few opportunities to disconnect if you plan them well. Among the historical and religious holidays, there are constant chances. March has the 24th with the Day of Memory, April features Holy Week, and May includes the usual holidays on the 1st and 25th. But speaking of August holidays in Argentina, there's the 17th with the San Martín Immortality Day, which can be moved. Basically, each month has something that allows you to create an extra-long weekend if you plan ahead now. The interesting part is that if you have to work on any of these days, you're legally entitled to double pay. So it's worth checking the full calendar carefully before committing to anything. Are you already planning your upcoming breaks?
