Be aware that if you use Line 2 on Sundays, it is divided into two circuits due to maintenance work. One runs from Cuatro Caminos to Pino Suárez and the other from Xola to Tasqueña, but San Antonio Abad, Viaducto, and Chabacano stations remain closed all day.

They are heavily working on the pump stations, especially at Pino Suárez, Portales, and Ermita stations, where they have equipment over 40 years old. The goal is to prevent flooding during rain, as past storms caused major disasters.

If you need to cross the downtown area, free RTP buses are available between Pino Suárez and Xola. It's best to leave earlier and check your route carefully before heading out. Line 2 of the Metro will be safer once the work is finished, but in the meantime, you should be patient.
