Just saw that Jazz Chisholm Jr. decided he wants to stick with the Yankees long-term instead of chasing free agency. The guy made $5.85 million last year and was looking at like $11 million in arbitration, but apparently he's willing to take a discount if they lock him in for multiple years. That's pretty interesting from a loyalty standpoint.

The dude had an insane 2025 - became only the third Yankee ever to hit 30 homers and steal 30 bases in one season. So he's definitely earned his raise. Jazz Chisholm's salary situation could actually work out for both sides if they get an extension done. He gets security, the team saves money compared to what he'd make in free agency, and they keep a guy who can give you speed and power in the lineup alongside Judge.

Curious if the Yankees actually pull the trigger on this. Their infield needs work and Chisholm seems like one of the few bright spots from last season. His salary negotiations should wrap up soon since he's already signaled what he wants.
