Analyst: Trump's speech drives oil prices soaring, risk premium surges

Mars Finance news. On April 2, crude oil futures prices surged. Earlier, Trump spoke about the Iran war, hurting traders’ expectations that the conflict in the Middle East would end quickly. The content of the remarks was more geared toward escalation and getting the job done, with almost no mention of peace talks.” He noted that although this may have been intended to push Iran back to the negotiating table, the risk premium has risen sharply.
