ME News message, on March 31 (UTC+8), Web3 security and analytics firm FuzzLand intern researcher Chaofan Shou posted on X, claiming that the source code for Anthropic’s terminal development tool Claude Code appears to have been leaked through a map file from its NPM registry, and the corresponding compressed package has been made publicly available for download. Netizens said someone has backed up the full code and uploaded it to a GitHub repository called “claude-code,” and shared that it contains a large number of TODO comments and hints about unreleased features. There is currently no evidence showing that the repository or the compressed package was officially authorized by Anthropic, and Anthropic has also not yet publicly responded to the alleged leak incident.
